The project involved the supply and installation of the H-pile foundation for a Alberta Highway's replacement bridge in a rural area of Beaver County. The tops of the piles were galvanized with unprotected or “black” tips. The work was undertaken for the General Contractor (GC) who was replacing the entire bridge structure. Johnston Construction was able to complete the work ahead of schedule, saving the GC time on a project with a tight timeline.
