The work involved both the supply & installation of three bridges on the Fort Smith Highway in the NWT. The project involved the supply and installation of three new bridges on the Fort Smith Highway in the Northwest Territories. The structures were needed to replace existing large diameter culverts. Each bridge was founded on steel H-piles, had a CSP ballast wall and precast concrete girders. Johnston Construction’s crews were able to complete the work ahead of schedule reducing the impact to the traveling public.
