Grey Creek bridge

The constructed bridge keeps the Grey Creek Pass road open for travellers.  Completed in the fall of 2017 during a bad fire season in the East Kootenays. This project consists of the installation of one 18.264 m o/o steel girder superstructure with 4.9 m wide concrete deck on steel post and precast concrete foundation. Services included the removal of the existing 12.2 m steel w/ timber deck on log crib Structure, with relocation to Cranbrook.  Construction survey, no post barriers, rip rap and road approaches were part of this project.
