The Middlefork consisted of the installation of one 24.38 m o/o steel girder superstructure with concrete deck on post on pad foundation. Included the deactivation of the existing 12.2m temporary steel/ wood decked bridge that over-spans a 9m log stringer bridge on log cribs (downgraded to 2 tonnes). This log stringer bridge also needed to be deactivated. 12.2 m steel Girder Bridge / timber decked bridge was transported to the Ministry yard in Cranbrook. The 9m log stringer bridge was disposed of onsite. The Seeta project consisted of the installation of one 24.38 m o/o steel girder superstructure with concrete deck on post on pad foundation. The Middlefork project consisted of the installation of one 21.34 m o/o steel girder superstructure with concrete deck on post on pad foundation. Included the deactivation of the existing 16.4m steel Girder Bridge / non-composite concrete deck on post on pad abutments. The existing 16.4 m o/o temporary bridge (steel, concrete deck and abutment materials) was transported to the Ministry yard in Cranbrook.
